Dr. Deonne has more than 20 years of experience in mental health evaluation and treatment. Over the years, Dr. Deonne's practice began to include more mental health emphasis, as friends referred their friends and psychiatric specialists provided input. She enjoys seeing children through adults. She looks forward to helping you address your mental health needs.
Deonne Brown Benedict has been a family nurse practitioner for 25 years and is dual certified as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She provides comprehensive medication evaluations for clients age 5 to 65. In 2019, Charis Clinic celebrated its 10 year anniversary!
Deonne stays abreast of the latest in education. Deonne received the AANP state award of excellence for 2010 and Seattle Met’s Top Nurses designation in 2013. She served as an assistant professor at Seattle University in their direct-entry NP program for three years. Deonne has been published in mental health texts, a book, and several other professional journals. She enjoys time with her husband and 3 great kids.
